Love Offering

 Isaiah 53:1-3 NIV
Who has believed our message
   and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,
   and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him,
   nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him.
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
   a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
   He was despised, and we held Him in low esteem.

Revelation 1:4-6 NIV
...Grace and peace to you from Him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father—to Him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. 

The power of the universe lies in the hands of the one who paid the price. He is a gentle Lamb who came in love and peace for the forgiveness of our sins. He came but we rejected Him. He loved us but we spat on Him. He forgave us but we mocked Him. After He rose from the dead He said He would return, He warned us to watch the signs of the times for with His second coming He will be coming clad in fighting armor returning as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

    I have to say first of all, what a wonderful picture of King Jesus riding in all His glory...it makes you want to weep.
    I have been feeling angry last week. Much has happened to my poor mother in a Nursing Home. So I drove 3 days down to her and 3 back, to make sure it would be better...I don't want to get angry..but wrong is wrong and it hurts so much. Praise God, Jesus is coming soon. All tears will be wiped away, and justice will rule..can't wait. XX

    Is your mum alright? I am so sorry for this. It makes me mad to see the elderly not treated with utmost care, they deserve it.

    Yes, He is coming and all tears will be wiped away!! Praise God!

    well, my wife is chinese and there's already some hot, spicy foods that i've rejected. next month, i go back to china for a couple of weeks and it isn't good timing. but i have something far worse to contend with coming at me so i'm praying this scripture:

    Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD. Jeremiah 17:7

    I LOVE that picture of Jesus riding in with all of the white horses! Maybe it's because, in fairy tales, the princess is always rescued by a prince riding a white horse :)

    Hi Katy,
    Me too! When I was little, and now too, and couldn't sleep I would picture myself on a horse riding beside Jesus on His white horse. Always we would be galloping bareback with no bridle because the horses understood us and listened by voice command. :) If I was troubled I would cry out to Him and He always came to my rescue on His white steed, riding in all His glory and Majesty!

    I love the Isaiah and Revelation passages you quoted. Yes, we are living in the generation of the Lord's return. This time he is not coming as a Lamb... but as a Lion!

    WOnderful pictures and such a great post of declaration, Child of God.

    I so enjoy the prophetic books, my mind reals at the grandness of it all. I can just imagine the power that will accompany Him when He returns and I want to be with Him.

    Wouldn't it be so exciting to be raptured and be part of the army that returns with Him? What a privilege this would be. I hope this is our generation!
