ReplyDeleteyou gotta be proud of her that's for sure! i enjoyed listening to her and she's got a great voice for singing. now i've led a sheltered life in a sense because i've never heard that song before! but it was real easy to listen to and i love music! you said she's your daughter and apples don't fall far from the tree:)
please congratulate her for me and tell her never to stop playing piano or singing! she has a precious gift.

ReplyDeleteYep, I am very proud of her! She started singing as soon as she started talking and It has been such a fun journey.
I read your comment to her and she was beaming from ear to ear, thanks for making her smile. :)
She is a worship leader at our church and I cry every time she sings. It is a gift from God and she really glorifies Him with it.

I don't think she will stop singing as it seems to be part of her make up. At one point she was considering becoming an opera singer but since most of that music is very secular and she has dedicated her life to serving God, she has chosen to give up that life and if God opens a door for her to sing for Him she will.
I am happy to hear that she brightened up you day with a song. I sure have missed her while she was gone to classes during the day for often our house is ringing with the piano and her singing along with my son strumming on the guitar. Really did miss that but now I have it back at least until September rolls around again. :s sigh, I don't want to think about that.

hey! child of God:) does your church record/create podcasts. i listen to breakthrough podcasts and sometimes get blessed with maybe a song or two. it's why i play POA so much is because i love Praise & Worship...especially with all the worshippers joining in. what tops it off is an open mike:)
