John 21:19-21 NIV 
Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, “Follow me!”
Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them. (This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is going to betray you?”) When Peter saw him, he asked, “Lord, what about him?” 

Lord Jesus, yes!

    So Good!!!
    Jesus favoured was his cousin John (not the Baptist) I imagine they played together as children. Families were very close,it must have been hard going through all the pain with Him. Yet glorious when He rose from the dead..

    Hi CM,
    John, the disciple who was not martyred, the one who was commissioned to look after Jesus' mother. I have wondered how John felt when all were being martyred and he wasn't, probably really hurt him.

    My sweet dear friend...thank you for posting this, as always you are so wonderfully encouraging to me!! Sorry I missed reading some of your recent posts I have been catching up just now.

    The Lord is so good to me, my little granddaughter is here spending a week with me in my home. Having her around me is better than anything the doctors could ever do for me.

    You are always in my thoughts and in my prayers my sweet and beautiful friend from across the miles...God bless!

    The joy of a child running around smiling and playing is very good for the heart, mind and soul. I am so happy you have your granddaughter around you just now. That is so special to have a week of pure innocent joy spending time with you.
