He was oppressed and afflicted,
yet He did not open His mouth:
yet He did not open His mouth:
He was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so He did not open His mouth.
By oppression and judgment He was taken away.
Yet who of His generation protested?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people He was punished.
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so He did not open His mouth.
By oppression and judgment He was taken away.
Yet who of His generation protested?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people He was punished.
He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in His death,
though He had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in His mouth.
and with the rich in His death,
though He had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in His mouth.

Jesus is innocent and pure, no sin was found in Him. He is fully God and fully man, only He could pay the price for our sin. Jesus was tempted, He knows fully well how hard life here on earth is. I believe Satan tempted Jesus way more than he has ever tempted us. In Gethsemane the temptation from Satan was so intense His sweat was like drops of blood.
Luke 22:43-44 NIV
An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
When temptation comes think about how Satan tempted Jesus, our trial will never ever match what Jesus went through and if He can do it then with Him guiding and yoked along side of us, so can we do whatever is placed before us.
Matthew 11:29-30 NIV
"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

That little lamb, so innocent..and so was our Lord. No, our trials can never match His.. I try not to show my feelings on my Blog, as I feel I am there to heal and help others, yet we all suffer in one way or another, none of us are immune. Coming up to Easter, we can all remember the suffering He endued for us. I cannot begin to imagine how terrible it was. He who was so kind, gave out love and healing to many, was rejected.. Just terrible..We are so very blessed to be able to take part in the blessings He has prepared especially for us.. I am so undeserving. xxx CM
ReplyDeleteAmen. Appreciate you sharing. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! Thanks so much for it! I love reading about Jesus and I really love reading about this right before Easter for the true meaning of Easter isn't about bunnies and colored eggs it is about what Jesus did for us, he died for our sins, he gave us life here on earth! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteI believe Satan is trying to get in my head lately and have me upset over DM yet I am pushing him out and just staying positive! Satan has his way of trying to be sneaky yuck!
Thanks for this girl

Whenever I get tempted the wrong way I stop and think about how I should handle the situation. I'm really lucky that I've always had a pretty strong faith so most of the time I can go in the right direction :)
ReplyDeleteHi Crystal Mary,
ReplyDeleteYes we all suffer with one trial or another. I read a beautiful email yesterday about a butterfly.
A man saw a cocoon that was starting to open and the butterfly within struggling so hard to get out. The man thought to help him by cutting the cocoon and peeling it back to make the hole bigger. After doing so the butterfly emerged with his wings plastered to his side. As the man watched and waited for the butterfly to spread his wings and fly away, he noticed that the butterfly just walked around without really moving his wings. That butterfly went on to never, ever fly because he needed the trial and hardship of emerging from the cocoon on his own to spread his wings. It is the struggling free from his nest that opened his wings that would allow him to fly.
As you know, we need these trials to grow into the person God wants us to be.
This is a common story and I am sure you have heard it but it really brings trials to life in a new and fresh understanding.
Hi JBR,
I am being very weighed down this year. What Jesus did for us is coming alive in a whole new way. I believe He wants me to go very graphic.
Hi Summer,
You are such a doll! :)
I am believing that Satan is really prowling around like crazy trying desperately to tear down the children of God. There is a movement happening, an awakening, and Satan wants nothing to do with it so he is striking out.
Keep your eyes on Jesus and trust Him. There is healing for you.
Blessings sisters,

Hi Katy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful, precious faith you have!! Hang on to it for that is a gift. I have believed in Jesus when I was like 4 or so and I have held on to my child like faith, which is a precious gift during the really rough times.

No sin found in Him and yet he suffered for all the sin in us. Thank You Lord Jesus ! !
ReplyDeleteDear one thank you for your recent comment. Sure you can copy this prayer. I copied it. It is up for grabs. Blessings.
ReplyDeletePraise God for sending the Lamb to die for the sins of all who will believe.
ReplyDeleteThe next time He is coming not as a Lamb but to judge in righteousness all unbelievers.
Today is the day of salvation, harden not your heart less you be cut off and separated from God for all eternity.
I am so grateful for that innocent lamb that died for me, what will I do without the blood of that lamb; thank Jesus for teh victory of the cross:)
