Jesus Welcomes Another Home

Brennan
Sweet Brennan has gone home to be with Jesus. It is a time of utter sadness yet filled with immense joy knowing he is with Jesus and out of pain. His story is very sad and the love his mom and dad have for him is very huge. Not unlike any other parent's love for their child but the feelings she poured out on her CarringBridge page and her facebook page just tore my heart in two.

Taken from the facebook page:
Brennan took his last breath this morning at 5:15am. A piece of my heart died today. I will never be the aame without my baby. God only answered obe prayer i requested for brennan, and that was to never cry in pain once we came home. Oh how i wish it would have been that my son never be taken from me!

Please pray for this family and if you feel led go to one of the pages and leave a word of encouragement. Thank you!

Psalm 34:18 NIV
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Romans 12:15 NIV
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

  1. My heart too is filled with grief. May Brennan rest in peace, he will remain just a little boy for all eternity, even in the hearts of his mommy and daddy.
    God bless this family, Geoff.

    1. Hi Geoff,
Thank you for praying for this little boy. I put a comment on the facebook page about how your heart was touched by Brennan's picture. I know it blessed and warmed her heart just knowing someone on the other side of the world was moved by her son.

      Blessings brother,

    1. Hi momto8,
Thank you for praying. Prayer is a very powerful tool God gave us and when accompanied with a repentant, humbled heart I believe it rocks the spiritual realm and lines things up with the will of God. I love to think about Daniel and how he fasted and prayed for 21 days and how the angel Michael final came and spoke to Daniel and told him how it was his prayers that helped him win the fight with the prince of Persia.

God doesn't always answer our prayers the way we want them answered but His answer is always the very best and supersedes our ideas always. God is always good all of the time even in death and sickness.

      Blessings,

  4. How terrible, I can feel that womans terrible pain. Nothing can be sad in times of another's grief. It would feel like your heart was ripped out of you. Only love shared and a listening ear.. If you live close enough then a meal taken over and the house cleaned and washing done.

    1. Hi Crystal Mary,
I agree with you that nothing can be said to comfort a grieving soul, only love, hugs and being still and listening. Unfortunately I do not live close to any of these sweet people I pray for. I trust God will take the prayers I offer and comfort them with His all encompassing arms. His love and peace is better than anything I could ever offer.

      Blessings sister,

  5. My heart as a mom is aching for this family. I know God as a comforter and as peace and pray that this family feels Him in the middle of their immense pain and sadness.

  6. A bitter-sweet day. Sad, because his family will be missing him, but for Brennan… he’s home with Jesus.

    1. Hi Kaycee,
Brennan is out of pain and very happy indeed. It is the one's left behind that are mourning that break my heart.
