What a glorious day this is. A day to be thankful, humbled and awed at the gift freely given so we can be restored into fellowship with the Creator of the world; GOD
Thank you Jesus for this gift!

Romans 4:22-25, 5:1-11 NIV
This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness.” The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Have a Blessed Good Friday and remember it is all about Jesus Christ not some bunny.

Jesus took on allot for us sinners and so this day means more to the Child of God then to anyone, it's not just on one day of the year we celebrate but it's a lifestyle in which we live by every single day of our lives.

Child of God, Much love sent to you, on these Holy days. Yesterday was our Good Friday and our church service was early. There were black coverings on all the windows, to bring to us the reality of how the whole world was darkened for three hours after Jesus died..We also had the entire reading on His death. It really touched my heart so much..
ReplyDeletePlease pray for my hubby Ray, to feel.... His feelings are so lost with the PTSD. When we came home from such a touch time in church, he put the TV on to the car races. I wanted to scream. I held it in and kept praying for him... Much love Crystal xx
Hi Crystal Mary,
DeleteBlessed Good Friday to you a day late. ;P
What an amazing sounding service!! Awesome! To have the area darkened and to read through Jesus' death sounds fantastic.
I will pray for Ray. I sure do know how you feel after such a Spirit filled time. When we were done today as soon as we were in the truck the kids started bickering and my hubby started dissing things. So I prayed. :s
Lifting you and Ray up sister,
