So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding. Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer, say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying? How thankful I am that God knows me inside and out. He knows and understands us better than we understand ourselves. He knows and understands what drives us; a craving to be like God. He created us in His image and we crave Him, to be like Him. When we make ourselves right with God through Jesus then our sins are forgiven, we are at peace because we can come to Him, through Jesus, and talk to Him like a friend. This is good news! This is awesome news! This is the best news I have ever heard!
Thank You Jesus for setting us free! Oh what a gift this is indeed.
