Priceless

Proverbs 12:10 NIV
A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.

God loves animals and truly cares about them and He wants us to look after and care for their needs. The needs of animals are not very complicated but they are time consuming and can be very costly, but the joy and unconditional love we receive from an animal is priceless.

I'm linking up with Barbie, Fresh Brewed Sunday.

Blessings,

  1. What a wonderful reminder. Love the horse @ the window photo! Made me smile. ;)
And to think, God knows and loves every animal, too... Striving to treat His precious creation with the respect it deserves.

    Blessings!

    1. Hi Nikki,
That horse is my daughter's Cearzo, enjoying the cool of the shade. It makes me smile too. :)
I get excited just knowing that God knows when a bird has fallen. He's pretty amazing.

  5. Thank you for stopping by at Leaving A Legacy! I wanted to tell you that I loved your deer picture as well! In the summer my family and I go on drives and see how many deer we can count. We have gotten up to 55 before. :)

    1. Hi Shari,
That is a lot of deer and sounds like a fun activity to do.

Prince, in this picture, was only 5 mths old. He was on our deck wanting to come in the house. :) We had him in the house for the first 3mths so I could bottle feed him around the clock. Deer are amazing and I feel so honoured that I had the privilege to raise this one.

  7. "The needs of animals are not very complicated but they are time consuming and can be very costly, but the joy and unconditional love we receive from an animal is priceless."
I can relate. We lost our cat of 14 1/2 years 6 months ago. At times she could be a real pain...moody, loud, couldn't always keep her food down, didn't like many other people, and did I say loud? But I loved her dearly and miss her. What she brought into my life far outweighed the other issues.
    In Christ,
    Laura

    1. Hi Laura,
I can totally relate to you when our friends become old and feeble they need even more attention and patience.
I'm sorry about your loss, it is always hard and you miss them forever.
