Kim Walker, Jesus Culture, Where You Go I Go.
Ruth 1:16-17 NIV
But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”
This verse was part of my devotions this morning. I posted it to Twitter and a friend of mine posted this song. How fitting. Thanks brother!
God bless and happy Monday. :)

Ruth is one of my favourite characters in the Bible. Boaz too, a really good man. A fabulous verse to ponder on.
ReplyDeleteBlessings from God to you, Geoff.
Hi Geoff,
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at the loyalty Ruth shows her mother in law. Her obedience is something I look to achieve. Many times when I feel rebellious, God reminds me of the obedience of Ruth and my spirit is humbled.
And Boaz! What an honourable, kind, gentle man he is. God sure did reward him for his kindness towards Naomi, or Mara as she changed it to.
Yes, good verse to ponder on.
God bless brother,
