Samuel & Celiac Disease

Finding Joy
Rachel, Finding Joy, is celebrating one year of health for her youngest son Samuel. Last year at this time he was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. After much persistence on her part, the doctors finally listened to her and did some tests which led to this diagnosis.

Rachel has since been working at awareness for this disease. This post is to assist Rachel on this endeavour. If you are interested in helping get awareness out there, please visit Rachel's post and Tweet it or share to Facebook, or take it a step further and make a post and share with your readers.

Here are two sites that Rachel has listed for information on Celiac, celiac.com and ROCK Both these sites are very informative.

God has given us a very powerful tool in prayer. This seemingly weak tool is very powerful when combined with faith. Many people were praying and praying for Samuel, lifting him and Rachel up to God. God is good, always.

Matthew 17:20-21 NIV
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Health and wholeness are found only in Jesus Christ.

  1. What a strong mommy-so glad she persevered for her son! There are tons of food allergies in our family and gluten happens to be one of them. I'm only 26 years old, but in those 26 years they have made amazing progress with how the "allergen-free" foods taste!

  2. Hi Katy,
Sometimes you just have to really fight for the doctors to do the tests.
I too am very glad for allergy free foods, otherwise I would be as stiff as a board.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Hi JBR,
You are welcome. Going gluten free helps many illnesses. I have been gluten free for 2 years and that along with removing soy, and MSG has set the Rheumatoid Arthritis into remission.

    Blessings girl,
