Good Morning; just a little note

Grosbeaks
1 Thessalonians 5:10-11 NIV

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

I was wondering if anyone was interested in supporting my friend who has just started a blog. She is a prolific writer and this blog For Christ Alone, looks like it could be very interesting and informative.

Well, our weather has turned around and it looks like it will start warming up soon. The sun has been shining and the blossoms are really starting to show everywhere! The birds are singing and tweeting and the bird feeders need to be filled every day and soon I can see filling them twice daily!

I want to thank everyone for praying for all of these sweet people God has placed on my heart. God bless you all!

Apple Blossoms

Hebrews 3:12-14 NIV

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.

Well, what looked like a beautiful warm day has turned the other direction. :s It is cloudy, cold and I had to turn the furnace on! :) Oh well, I don't mind for I love all weather.

  5. Hello friend, I would love to read your friends blog, but when I popped over there, I couldn't read it due to the black background and yellow words. My eyes are so old. It's just really hard on my eyes. I am sure she has some wonderful stuff on there!

  8. Glad it is warming up in your part of the world. Here in South Carolina it is warm. It was 95 today. It has cooled off to a very low 93 this evening. Beautiful picture.

  9. The apple blossoms and the grosbeaks are lovely... and the Scripture you posted here about encouragement are timely.

We all need encouragement because of the deceitfulness of sin.

May encouragement return to you a hundredfold, as your blog is so full of encouragement for anyone who visits.

    Love
    Lidj

  10. After I posted my comment, I scrolled down to read some of your recent posts. Sorry to hear about Addison Jo, but you put it beautifully, she is now resting in the arms of Jesus. She is whole, and is full of joy. Praise God... I am praying for her parents and her family. It is a difficult time for them, so I am praying God will pour comfort and strength into their hearts.

I have listened to a few videos by John Paul Jackson. He is such an anointed teacher. What you posted about prayer is very important.

    Thanks!

    Blessings

  11. Hi Sojourner,
Nice to see you commenting again, blogger has been fickle over the last while but it looks like it is working again.

    Hi JT,
Hehe, it was a false sign for not long after I posted this the clouds came and it got cold and I had to turn the furnace on again. But that is ok because I love to run and me and the heat just don't get along to well.

    Hi Lidj,
We sure do need encouragement and I am glad you found some in these verses! :)
It is so sad about Addison Jo, my heart just bleeds for her mom and dad. It is a painful reminder of what God did for us in giving up His Son.

    Blessings,

  13. I am feeling lead to carry over into prayer for those you listed above to pray for; was hoping it would be ok to do so through my blog? Being prayer partners/warriors, teaming up? Your thoughts? :)

  14. Hi IwP,
Glad you liked the tree, it is even more beautiful than the pic shows as it is an ancient one in desperate need of pruning but I love it this way for it is has so much character.

Sure go ahead and carry this over to your blog. This is for God and guided by His leading so if you feel He is leading you in this way by all means follow His guiding.

    Blessings,

  18. Hello C of G. I will visit her right now. I wonder if you have read the book...Heaven is For Real by Todd Burpo? About a 4yr old who experienced an out of the body journey. He knew what he could never possibly know, unless he had been there. One day, we will see the Lord, face to face. God bless you and all you pray for heaps...xxx
