Scarlett Grace was born with a brain tumor that wasn't discovered until she was two months old. You can read her story here. Since the discovery of this tumor, that had very poor prognosis, she has has had 6 brain surgeries and chemo therapy and has been tumor free for 18 months. Scarlett just celebrated her 2nd birthday and two months ago a spot a MRI was noticed. Here is the report from her mom taken directly from her blog Starring Scarlett
Today we met with her neuro-oncologist. The new MRI shows that the mystery spot has grown. It is about the size of - which food is good for this?? - pumpkin seed, maybe? A few grains of rice in September, a few more grains of rice now. It is only visible on 2 of the many slices of MRI images. In essence, tiny, growing slowly, but definitely growing. ...
......
...The brightest spot is that they are BLOWN AWAY by her recent development. Her doctor was taking her own videos of Scarlett crawling just so she could share it with everyone else. If you didn't know to look, you would never guess how much this little girl has survived. This tumor picked the WRONG kid to mess with.
Scarlett Grace, by human standards, should not have survived BUT by the hand of God is on this child and she is thriving!
The road ahead is uncertain and very disturbing for her mom and dad. Please be in prayer for Scarlett as the doctors decide what to do next.
Mark 11:22-23 NASB
And Jesus answered saying to them, "Have faith in God.
Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,
'Be taken up and cast into the sea,'
and does not doubt in his heart,
but believes that what he says is going to happen,
it will be granted him."
Cancer is a mountain and can seem unmovable, but nothing is impossible with God and He has told us to pray about all things. Thank you for supporting Scarlett and her family in prayer.
God Bless,
