    1. Hi Elizabeth,
I too love the Birch tree and their close relative the Poplar tree which are shown in this photo.

      Thanks for stopping by. :)

  3. Living in the spirit of God is a much more happy existence. He shines through and does what you are sometimes unable to do, and that's is to love the unlovable.

    1. Hi Crystal Mary,
I agree with you on the happiness found when living in the Spirit. I have found that the more I seek Father and ask Him to break my heart for what breaks His, the more He fills me with love for those whom are difficult to love. Looking on Him, we can love those who are unlovable.

      Blessings sister, thanks for visiting.

  4. Hi child of God,
yes, living in the Spirit is so much more of a blessing than living according to my carnal mind's wisdom. I love the way the Lord directs my path when I don't lean on my own understanding.
    God bless

    1. Hi Brenda,
Once one starts living in the Spirit of God you start to understand the total freedom there is and the amazing Joy of the Lord. God is so creative!

  5. Hi Sweetie...Good scripture. No, the flesh is no help at all...a hindrance, in fact!

I was on my way out into the forest to get some birch bark for to decorate some baskets around the house for winter. And I saw your photo just before going out...made me smile :)

    1. Hi Lisa,
I agree, the flesh is a hindrance.

I love birch bark and the birch tree, so pretty. These, however, are poplar trees and pretty as they look they are weak and tend to fall down a lot. We have a lot of poplar here and not as many birch. I'm sure you have a lot of birch trees where you are.

      Blessings hon,

    1. Hi Floyd,
I am finding the flesh to be so empty and unsatisfying, always longing for more. In the Spirit there is a deep satisfaction and I am learning to relate to Paul when he said, even in the little he has he is content.
