Psalm 27:1-3 NIV
The Lord is my light and my salvation —
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
When evil men advance against me
to devour my flesh,
when my enemies and my foes attack me,
they will stumble and fall.
Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then will I be confident.

Hi child of God,
ReplyDeleteI just want to encourage Lucy and her family. This morning I opened my Bible to Psalm 103 and was reminded of how the promises of God, including the one that says He is the One 'who heals all your diseases', are true when we believe them above all other words that have been spoken (including what even doctors might speak). The two greatest trials I have had in my life as a christian have been sickness and finances, and I have been encouraged by the Lord as I have sought Him to trust absolutely in His word to me above everything else. I have experienced a miraculous healing, other healings, and times when God has simply said to me 'My grace is sufficient for you'. Someone once said that FEAR stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. What our mind will tell us will happen, when God has spoken otherwise, is false evidence. God's perfect love will cast out fear, and keep us in perfect peace if our mind is stayed upon Him. Lord, we ask that Your words 'He heals them from all their diseases' bring into existance that which at this moment in time does not exist for lucy, her complete healing. We give You thanks Father in Jesus name amen.
Hi Brenda,
DeleteThanks for posting this comment. I agree with you that our words and how we think are so important and I love that acronym for fear!
Father, I stand in agreement with Brenda's prayer. You are Healer and Lord of all. Only in You is there complete healing. In the name of Jesus amen.
Blessings sister and what a testimony you have, thanks for sharing.

Dear Sister, I read this post yesterday, but didn't comment. Instead, I clicked on the links you provided, and read Lucy's Story. I didn't forget to come back, it was just that I was deeply moved to pray for Lucy and her family. What a loving family, and together they are all very brave. I loved Lucy's birthday party, so wonderful to see joy on their faces in the midst of a huge battle. Praying for all the family, praying and believing for a miracle. God bless you. Love, Kerrie
ReplyDeleteHi Kerrie,
DeleteThank you for taking the time to visit Lucy's page and pray over this sweet child. She is a dear and a true doll. They think she has meningitis and other complications. Cancer totally sucks! So many complications that come along with this nasty disease.
Blessings,
