Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
What we focus our thoughts on, this is what we will become. What we feed our mind with, is what will feed our spirit. Christians, are told we have the mind of Christ, 1 Corinthians 2:16, so then we should put good things into our mind and subject ourselves as students of the Most High King by pondering on what would honour and glorify Him.

I love the first bible verse! I am bummed I can't make it to church this am for I am sicky for the chemo pills last night and the IVIG is starting to wear off so new dose is soon! I always leave your blog feeling so much closer to GOD and I want to thank you so much for it! When I can't go to church I come over here and it is like I am getting the message at home on my computer from you! I love it and you!

DeleteThe world sure would be a better place if we all would live this verse. I believe our words are very powerful, they will either build up or tear down. I do struggle with this one because once something hurtful has slipped out a lot of damage can be done.
