Hebrews 11:1-2 NIV

If only I could see a sign, or a miracle then I'd believe in God, I'd get my life straight and follow Him. Are you one who does this? This is a deadly thought, just look at the plagues in Egypt. How did the Egyptians and Pharaoh react? Their hearts only became harder. And what about the miracles Jesus performed? The people's hearts only became harder still. Miracles do not make a person believe in God they only reveal the condition of one's heart. Either the heart is hard or there is a trace of faith found.
Are you waiting for a sign or a miracle to strengthen or give you faith? Well, one thing I do know and that is the burst of confidence that is found in the witnessing of a miracle will fade away just as quickly as the event appears. When tomorrow comes and there is no miracle to witness doubt will seep in once again.
The evidence of God's existence is everywhere you look, what you need to decide is if you are willing to be open minded enough to see Him and change your mind and believe. Just look at the Hubble and what it found when it was pointed towards a black spot in space.
Hebrews 11:3 NIV
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Psalm 19:1-6 NIV
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is deprived of its warmth.
If you have a little more than 4 minutes please watch the video below on the Hubble and stand in awe of God and His Creation.

We also can appreciate why at least eleven Bible passages, involving five different writers, mention the “stretched out heavens.” Another verse, Psalm 19:1, takes on a new depth of meaning: “The heavens are telling of the glory of God, and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.”
ReplyDeleteHi mspy,
DeleteThank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. When I read, in the Bible, about the heavens I get chills just knowing that God created them. God is immense and to think that He loves us, well that just blows me away.
Blessings,

Blessings to you dear one. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi hon,
DeleteThanks! Hugs back to you. :)

don't you just love it when scientists make discoveries that
ReplyDeleteprove His Word to be true! they'd love to explore the place
where they suspect the ark is but aren't allowed. yet, when
you think about it we are the proof....or should be.
Hi Sojourner,
DeleteYes, it is cool! The sad thing is that scientists make many discoveries that prove there is a Creator but they deny it because they cannot see God. They believe more about evolution, even though it has been proven faulty with many holes in it, because they can see results and touch the results. Jesus tells us in
John 20:29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
My husband is a scientist and my daughter is doing her Bsc in Biology and both of them say that just studying the sciences you know there is a Creator, everything points to Him.
Blessings brother,

You know...until I became a Christian 4 1/2 years ago I never noticed all the beautiful things in creation. I laughed at people when they talked about how God made everything so beautiful. The mountains and the forests and the skies! Now...I just look in wonderment sometimes at how beautiful everything is. There has to be a GOD because how could evolution ever have done everything so perfectly!!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you Child of God...Chelle
Hi Chelle,
DeleteIt is wonderful how God comes in and removes the scales that are on our eyes. It takes faith to believe first, then God starts showing Himself. We know so little. Just watching this little clip on the pictures from the Hubble so how little we really do know. Only God can do this. Only God who was, is and is to come could create such vastness. I get blown away with just how big He really is.
Blessings sister, :)

Hello Child of God,
ReplyDeleteWe look at a sign and a miracle everyday, that is creation. Just think about it, how did an eye evolve to be able to see by random chance? Look at all the animals who has an eye to see through. It just happened by accident? No way. If someone will not see the evidence of God through creation, neither will they even if someone rose from the dead. Well Jesus did raise from the dead and people still did not believe.
Awesome post and God bless,
Ken
Hi Ken,
DeleteYes! Creation is so amazing. I agree with you that if a person will not acknowledge God while looking at His creation then they never will and when Jesus comes back as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, there will still be many who will not believe. That thought really makes me sad.
Blessings brother, nice seeing you around. :)
