So many people I know, are going through all kinds of storms right now and my heart aches for you. If you are going through storms right now, this song is for you.
Exodus 15:2-3 NIV
“The LORD is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
The LORD is a warrior;
the LORD is his name.
he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
The LORD is a warrior;
the LORD is his name.
LORD, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago.
You have made the city a heap of rubble,
the fortified town a ruin,
the foreigners’ stronghold a city no more;
it will never be rebuilt.
Therefore strong peoples will honor you;
cities of ruthless nations will revere you.
I will exalt you and praise your name,
for in perfect faithfulness
you have done wonderful things,
things planned long ago.
You have made the city a heap of rubble,
the fortified town a ruin,
the foreigners’ stronghold a city no more;
it will never be rebuilt.
Therefore strong peoples will honor you;
cities of ruthless nations will revere you.

I just wanted to thank you for ALL of the prayers for our sweet baby and I :) We are doing GREAT and I go see my rheumatologist on Thursday and I'll talk to her then about some different medicine for my joints. In the mean time when I look at our little guy's sweet face I can ignore the pain. I hope all is well with you :)

Lord, I lift up to you all of those who are in the midst of the storms of life. I pray that you would be their comfort and hope, and their endless help in this time of need. Thank you, Father, for our prayer warrior/sister, Child of God, and I pray that you would richly bless her and lift her up on wings like eagles. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
ReplyDeleteHi Emily,

Hi Child of God,
ReplyDeleteWonderful inspirational song!!
I uplift to the Lord all those who are in the midst of storms in their lives. God's grace and peace be with them at all times!!
You see, Child of God dearest, there is new wisdom to discover. Dive into your deepest feelings. The message is surely filled with rich meaning to teach you. The power is within oneself to change for the better. We must observe, study and explore all that is happening in our world. God is our Saviour, and the source of our existence. Let life work its magic on us!! Have you ever thought about these things?? I wonder.
God keeps blessing you, and those you love, precious friend!!
Thank you so much for reading and posting your lovely comments in my blogs, sweet Child of God!! I highly appreciate your kindness.
In God's Garden,
Poet Starry Dawn.
Hi Starry Dawn,
ReplyDeleteI agree that we should observe, study and explore all that is happening in our world today. But I only believe the power is in God not ourselves. When we are hidden inside Jesus, then it is His power that we have access to but that is not the same as the world's power, it is humble, forgiving, loving and self sacrificing.
Thanks for your kind words and your sweet friendship. You are a dear sister in Christ.
Blessings,

Hi Child of GOD -
ReplyDeleteThank you for this precious comfort for those who are presently in storms. Our GOD is truly greater than all!
Mark 4:35-39 - KJV
...he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship,..
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
Hi Sandra,
ReplyDeleteWonderful scripture! He calms the storms in our lives.
Blessings,
