Summer time & prayer requests

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer. I sure am! Busy!! That is what my summer has been so far, very busy. I'm up early in the morning and the minutes seem to fly by and the next thing I know I am exhausted and ready for bed. I have had very little computer time this summer, and although I miss my online friends, I have enjoyed the break from the screen. School is starting up again in about 3 weeks time and this year it will be a bit different. I don't have any high schoolers at home. My daughter is finishing off her Bachelor of Science program and my son is starting his first year in university. :) He will do his first year at home with an online program and then September 2014 will find me free from the 17 years of homeschooling and on my own. Already I am mourning this soon to happen change.

There are a couple of prayer requests for Phoebe and Lucy.

Here is a little snippet from Phobe's blog An Atypical Miracle...

Grief is a strange animal. One moment I’m fine, the next I am blubbering to Benjamin on the way home from the grocery store about Phoebes and life and how it will change. Most days are good; I try to stay in the moment lest I use up these precious hours with pre-mature self pity and sadness. I know it’s God and that yes indeed His grace IS sufficient, because it oft occurs to me that I should be plummeting into the depths of despair right now. There is a super-natural buffer that He is manifesting in my life that keeps me even-keeled and from teetering over the precipice. ...

This is a very difficult time for Amey, Nathan and the family. Please, when you think of them, pray for Father to intercede and carry them through these precious days in front of them. They have one of their sons, Deacon, going through counseling already as he is having a very hard time dealing with the news of the return of cancer in Phoebe. Thank you for your prayers and for your caring hearts!

Lucy, will be having scans on September 4th. Please pray these scans are clear and show no signs of cancer. Thanks!!

Psalm 88:1-2 NIV
Lord, you are the God who saves me;
day and night I cry out to you.
May my prayer come before you;
turn your ear to my cry.

Sam and Emily

Please keep Emily and Sam in your prayers this week. Emily will be having scans on Tuesday December 18 and Sam will be having scans on Thursday December 20.

The more I pray for people who suffer from cancer, the more respect I have for them and all they go through. If the cancer is not bad enough they also must suffer from the side effects of the chemo and radiation. These children and adults that push through this are troopers especially since I see many of these children with smiles on their faces even when they are so sick.

Father,
I love You so deeply and I honour You above all things. You are my God and I totally adore You. I want to be like You Daddy. :) Thank You for creating medicine and medical doctors and nurses and orderlies. Thank You for sending so many people to pray for these sick people. Lord, You know how my heart bleeds and ache for these children who are suffering and how I desire to see them healed. Father, have Your mighty hand on Sam and Emily as they go through these scans. Lord, let the scans come back CLEAN! You know Sam's scans have only been stable, please give Sam and Emily a wonderful gift of NED.

Cancer, I bind you in the name of Jesus. I command you to leave Sam and Emily in the name of Jesus. Leave and never return in the name of Jesus. Father pour Your healing down on Sam and Emily and heal them completely in the name of Jesus amen.

Luke 10:19-20 NASB
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.
Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you,
but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.

Updates, Prayer & Scans

Hello all!! I have a few prayer requests for Wayne and Emily. Thanks for reading and praying!! Thinking on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, we take captive the thoughts of poor scans and cancer and make them obedient to Jesus Christ and the healing power of His work on the cross.

Here is an email that I received from Chelle concerning Wayne:

Yesterday I shared the prayers all of you put in the comment section with Wayne and Marge. Last night I received this e-mail from them.

Thank you for sharing these prayers with us.  GOD is in control and HIS faithfulness never ceases to amaze us!
Wayne's appointment was at 8:15  The Lab results showed he was anemic and his platelet count too low to have an infusion.  He wound up having a blood transfusion so we were still there for over 5 hours.  They warned us of all the possible problems to watch for.  So far all is well.  The two nurses who administered the transfusion are Christians, who were so encouraging and shared testimonies of GOD'S healing touch and new strength one day at a time.
Wayne will not have another infusion until July 30th giving his body a rest.  The oncologist explained more about the PET scan results.  When we read the report it did not   look very encouraging.  GOD clearly is asking "Whose report are you going to believe?"
We saw him failing right before our eyes, his color was gray/ashen, so very weak and could only lay down and wanted to sleep.  Faith is believing, even though that is not what our eyes see.
That all shared, we continue ask for prayer, knowing they work!

I also posted this on my blog again. I believe the more prayer the better!

Blessings...Chelle

Thank you Chelle for keeping us so well informed on how Wayne is doing. Please continue to pray for Wayne as he is going through lows of chemo therapy. Press in for healing here on earth. Even though the PET scan results were not encouraging, it is God we are looking to and sometimes God is doing something totally different than what the scans show. I really do believe the words we speak tied in with Bible verses can change the atmosphere around us. Cancer is evil so lets continue to rebuke this disease and pray for total healing here on earth.

Emily Hubbel,
Emily is having scans today, tomorrow and coming back home on Friday. So far Emily has not had a NED result. She is on a clinical trial as the cancer that is afflicting her did not respond to the normal treatment. Please pray for these results to show that this chemo therapy is working. Seek NED!! (No Evidence of Disease).

This is a picture of Emily on her way to meet up with Wings of Mercy and then a 3 hr flight to Michigan. What a precious little 5 year old she is.

Praying for you Emily!!

Mark 11:22-25 NIV
“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Father,
I believe Your Word to be truth. So as I pray in alignment with Mark 11:22-25, I ask for the mountain of cancer to be cast into the sea and removed from Wayne and Emily's body. I believe in my heart that You will do this and I do not doubt. Father, I ask You bring to my mind any thing I may be holding against anyone and I ask you to forgive me as I forgive them. Lord, I cover Wayne and Emily in the healing blood of Jesus Christ and pray 100% health here on earth for these dear, precious children of God. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray amen.
