Matthew 28:5-7 NIVThe angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
Death could not hold Him!! The grave had to let Him go! Satan could not conquer Him!!!
GOD wins!!
Blessed Resurrection Sunday!

Hi child of God. He is risen indeed. I have often wondered what it was like for those close to Jesus and got to experience this. Even though Jesus had told them what would happen, they did not get it. When all seemed lost and hopeless, Jesus rose from the dead. How awesome and amazing this is. It is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes. God bless you.

It must have been so wonderful for the disciples to see Jesus after He rose. Hope and faith restored with a fire that would never go out even when they themselves were being persecuted. I believe the wonderment they felt, we too will feel when we go into heaven.

I've often thought about this myself...and one day we will all have that confirmation IRL to what we believe in faith today. My hubby says (and I agree, he's so smart) that we all have faith in something, even atheists have a measure of faith regardless of what they say...but the problem is WHERE do they place their faith? If it is in themselves (most likely) or anything else that is false, it won't stand the test of eternity...we have faith in something (Someone) that is as solid as a Rock....and the proof of that will bear out in time, but now we must hold fast to the truth, by God's strength and power in us to bring that to completion. One day we will awake in our new resurrection bodies too, and will see Him in person, and there will be no more waring against our wicked flesh, doubts, temptations, decaying bodies, etc, it will all be healthy and whole and complete contentment in Jesus. :)
DeleteHi Susan,
DeleteSo true!!
All of us were created to worship. Deep inside we know about God but those who refuse to believe or accept this deny Him but they still worship and have faith.
Holding fast to the Truth of Jesus Christ!!
