And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit is our helper and when we follow the flesh we cause the Holy Spirit mental suffering. This thought breaks my heart in two.

Me too, I hate the thought of grieving the Holy Spirit!
ReplyDeleteI know it grieves Him when we worry. I wrote a poem when I was stressed with worry the other day, and He gave me Peace...
Our God is so Good!

Just the thought of grieving the Holy Spirit makes me feel sick. I never want to grieve Him, yet I know that I have and I know that I will. So thankful for His forgiveness!
ReplyDeleteHi Barbie,
ReplyDeleteBecause of His love and forgiveness, we can go on. I am learning a lot about parenting from God and it sure does sting when my kids grieve me then I turn and look at how I grieve God. It is a lesson for sure.
Blessings,
