No Situation Is Impossible For God

I have often wondered what it would have been like living back in the days of Acts, when the disciples were so loyal to Jesus and the way He told them to live. This verse says every day they preached Jesus Christ. The wording here implies in every waking moment they were about the Lord's work spreading the Good News.

We can do this today and we will see people changed, healed from physical and spiritual ailments and impossible situations made right. Just on Wednesday I heard about a 60 year old hell's angel giving his life to Jesus. The glory of the Lord rested in the room and this man was changed in less then five minutes.

Nothing is impossible for our mighty God!

    1. Hi Jennifer,
Yes! God is still the same as He was back then. I too tend to forget this. It's so wonderful to know He doesn't change!

    2. Hi child of God. I too have wondered what it would be like living in Bible times. One thing I notice is that so many Godly people's lives were all about the Lord. Great post and blessings. Ken

    3. Hi Ken,
It so good to see your icon here. I have missed your fellowship.

I can just the imagine the fire that surrounded these people who saw Jesus face to face. Their conviction could not be moved.

      Blessings brother,

  2. Oh yes. And something else is...God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Today people are trying to tell us He is changing but that just isn't true. Praise the Lord. He still saves...delivers...and heals!!
    Have a blessed day!!

  3. Though I would have like to have been with Jesus, I do appreciate the time and place that the Lord set me. Modern conveniences can be a blessing and a stumbling block, but we can be about our God's business in any age. Today is our day.

    1. Hi Brian,

I agree, I do love our modern conveniences like washing machines and vacuums. :)

Today is our day and we will live it fully for Father.

Blessings brother thank you for your wisdom.

  4. Amen to this coG. Adding to the church and miraculous healing(which I experienced) used to happen regularly in the Adelaide revival centre where I was born again and the pastors at that time had never even been to a Bible college. They were called by God to do what they did.
    God bless

    1. Hi Brenda,
You must have experienced an amazing revival! How wonderful to be in the presence of God amongst those who are hungry for Him and obedient to Him in doing as He has called them to do. That will stay with you forever.

    1. Thank you Lauren. This is an old church building near me that is still active. It is so wonderful to drive by and see so many cars and trucks parked outside of it.

  6. Love the message in your post. This morning I went to a breakfast where a young pastor daughter gave her testimony of how God brought her out of her sin, a life of addiction and set her feet on the solid rock and now is using her to help others in the same place of addiction. It was encouraging and challenging to not think God is above using everything we experience even if it's from our own sin.

    1. Hi Betty,

How sweet! I'm sure her testimony will help a lot of people who are going through addiction. Good for her to step out of her comfort zone and share.

My hope is this man will witness to others who are in the hell's angels and many more will give their lives to Christ. A house divided cannot stand. Here's to praying this evil house is divided.

      Thanks for sharing,

  7. This is so wonderful and reminded me of my father. He was a good man and while he believed there was a "God" he had a conflicting relationship with Him marred by childhood pains and the effects of Vietnam. But I rest in the knowledge that when he died last year he accepted Him completely as his Savior and that comforts me.

    1. Hi Maria,
Childhood trauma and Vietnam trauma, that is tough! How wonderful he came to the Lord fully. Praise GOD! It is wonderful how Father will walk us through the issues in life that we are dealing with.

Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. :)

  8. Amen, sister. I love hearing stories like that! Sometimes I think the ones that know they're "sick" as the way Christ described us, are infinitely closer than the ones who think they've earned a spot by not "looking" like the Hells Angel… Beautiful and heartwarming story.

    1. Hi Floyd,
It is a cool story and from what I am told a very rough man changed in an instant to a very mellow, "I get it" man. Tattoos, brass knuckles and all changed by the Spirit of God!
You made a great point Floyd. Apparently this man was a very rough character, jail for terrible crimes and all, yet he knew that he was lost unlike those who do good acts and walk up right by the laws standards. These up right people don't think they need God at all. Wonderfully put!

      Blessings brother,

  9. Thank you for sharing this! Hearing how God's Word is still changing lives is awesome.
He is alive, His Word is alive.

I'm reminded of the passage about how few laborers there are for such a large harvest. God help us have a passion for the lost.

    1. Hi TC,
People are ready to give their lives to Jesus, we just need to tell them about the Good News. We can't let those few bad apples spoil our zeal for salvation.

  10. I once heard or read somewhere that any sickness could kill us if not for our miraculous immune system, and even that can fail, it is all done through God's miracle that He renews every day. It might not always be as glitzy and awe inspiring the way our flesh wants to see God's miracles, but they are miraculous none the less. Jesus was born in an "ordinary way" and yet that was the greatest miracle in history, and many rejected (and continue to this day to reject) the miraculousness of that humble event.

God bless, Child of God :)

    1. Hi Susan,
Our immune system is pretty amazing. I love how God created us with it, knowing we would need it after the fall.
