Today, I am missing one of my besties, Shinzou Takara.
Thankfully I have hope to see him again one day.
Job 12:7-10 ESV“But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the heavens, and they will tell you; or the bushes of the earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this? In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind."

Oh I'm so sorry! :(
ReplyDeleteI know the heartache of losing a beloved dog. Your pal looks so sweet and lovable in your photo!
ReplyDeleteAw, I have every sympathy with you. We have lost our pets over the years, one cat we had for 24 years. It is lovely that the Lord has a word of comfort for these occasions. How great is our God.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you coG.
((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteWrapping my arms around you and crying with you...Soon these tears will turn into rejoicing and laughter...Father has another good dog to run through the meadows of heaven with His children there!
Watch out Shinzou...Emma might be little, but don't let that fool you...She can be pretty big in attitude! Enjoy playing together!
Thank you friends.
ReplyDeleteHe passed on Christmas Day in the evening and then four days later our black lab passed as well. It has been a tough year for losing our beloved animals. This fellow, Shinzou, we raised from a puppy and he was part of our hearts, like a child. Such a wonderful guard dog from the bears and cougars, he is missed. Yesterday I was feeling very soppy, but today it is better. :)
Thanks for your love and Lisa, I believe Emma and Shinzou would be playing and having a great time together. :) Shinzou had such a kind heart towards little dogs.

He is absolutely beautiful, and I love that verse, for I have never read that before.
ReplyDeleteAww- so sorry. Pets are family members. Praying for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lon and Jennifer. He is very special. I have never met a dog like him and I'm sure I will never have another that will come close to this guy.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Animals are such a blessing and gift from God. I just can't imagine them NOT being in heaven.
ReplyDeleteI'm not an artist, but I have friends who are. They pour their hearts out in their work, they are attacked to me. God is an awesome artist and He poured so much detail and love into each creation, I just can't conceive of Him not wanting them to be in heaven.
My heart goes out to you. I'll pray for you.
Hi TC,
DeleteMy hope and belief is that because animals don't have a soul, just a spirit, that when they die their spirit goes immediately into the presence of God. I agree with you that Father, Who created all, how could He not have these innocent animals not be in His presence for all of eternity. He is so good!
Thank you for your prayers. Losing Shinzo has really hurt.
Blessings,

I'm sorry for you loss. I find lessons too in the love and commitment of animals, especially dogs. I've got some sad memories of the ones that have come and gone and I'm with Billy Graham. Our Father is all about love and created them for us.
ReplyDeleteThank you Floyd.
DeleteI have find a lot of healing in just being around animals and am considering starting a therapeutic riding farm for those who need that special touch that can be found in an animal, they are special and have so much to give. Yea, Father created them for us. :) What a gift!
Blessings,
