Not Hate But Love
At the cross Jesus defeated Satan. He was broken and He surrendered to Father's will in order to rid us of the curse. It was His love for us, His deep, sweet love for us that broke Satan in two. Love is powerful and this verse 1 Corinthians 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love has a deeper meaning then we understand. Love undoes hate. Love conquers all evil.

ReplyDeleteThere is coming a time and already is, when Christians will be accused as being hateful because we do not agree with other kinds of lifestyles..even if we do nothing but say we disagree, or point out that is is not something good in God's eyes.
That scripture will need to be adhered to even more as we see more hate and violence occuring, even at the hand of some who claim to be Christians...Love covers all, even a multitude of sins...that is just what Jesus accomplished on the cross!

Hi Lisa,
DeleteYes you are so right! Already, by a few, I am labeled as one who promotes hate speech, :( because I stand up for God and His Word. It is coming but like you said we need to keep on loving others, putting them first and turning the other cheek. We just do give into what Scripture says is wrong.
Thanks for the wonderful comment Lisa.

Yes! He defeated evil and hate. I'm still like a child - learning to love all, not just the ones like me. Terrific reminder for us, thank you for sharing it!
ReplyDeleteHi Carrie,
DeleteLearning to love is a life long process and if we approach it from the eyes of a child we will succeed in learning to love all.
Thanks for visiting. Blessings.

Love casts out fear... Great post. We so underestimate the love of God in our lives. It has been used to control the destiny of earth as we make our way to our Father's perfect will and redemption that is grounded in His love...
ReplyDeleteHi Floyd,
DeleteYes we do underestimate the love of God in our lives. God is love and He created us in love yet often we are so filled with self pride that the love He gave us becomes lust. Praise God He made a way to correct this!
Thank you for stopping by.

It surely has a much deeper meaning than we can even think of. To love that way, we first need to be anchored deep in the source of all love; our Lord Jesus. What a beautiful picture.

Hi Mia,
DeleteThank you, my daughter took this picture.
There are some people who are very difficult to love but when we are anchored in Jesus His Spirit enables us to love them.
Thank you for visiting. :)
