Watchmen of the Lord

Psalm 130 NIV
 Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
   to my cry for mercy.
If you, LORD, kept a record of sins,
   Lord, who could stand?
But with you there is forgiveness,
   so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits,
   and in his word I put my hope.
I wait for the Lord
   more than watchmen wait for the morning,
   more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Israel, put your hope in the LORD,
   for with the LORD is unfailing love
   and with him is full redemption.
He himself will redeem Israel
   from all their sins.

    Hi Child of God ~ Love that Psalm. What stands out for me today is...I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. Seems to go along with what I posted last night. Thank you for posting this. It is a blessing.

    We pray this scripture often in the Prayer Room while praying for Israel. I love the part that says, "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. I wait for the Lord." This speaks to me of being still before Him and allowing Him to speak to my spirit through His word. Blessings my friend.

    This is a perfect scripture for praying in the prayer room for Israel. I think of all these people that I am praying for and how I am just waiting on the Lord for His hand to touch them and heal them, soul and body.
