A belated Merry Christmas to all!! I have been out of town visiting family and did not have internet access and blogging on my phone, well that just doesn't work with me. I hope you all had an amazing Christmas time celebrating the birth of our Savior.
The news we received today was not as we had hoped. During the biopsy the doctors found that the cancer has spread into the lymph nodes and has spread throughout the lymphatic system. It has now been designated as a Stage 3B cancer. Because of this, they did not proceed with the surgery to remove the mass. With this news, we will now move to a Plan B. We will be meeting with the medical oncologist and will begin a regiment of chemo and radiation.
We continue to glorify God through it all and know that this is not
a surprise to Him. We don't know the reasons, the whys, or the hows.
We know that we are right in the middle of His plan. We pray for God
to be glorified through all of this and know that He is still in the
business of making miracles, and is the Great Physician.
Please continue to pray for Wayne as he continues into this next stage on this journey.
Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Blessings,
