She Will Live!




Adorable Scarlett will be going in for surgery next week. Please keep her in your prayers. Here is what her mom said...

Scarlett is scheduled for surgery next week, on Wednesday, 12/12/12.  Hopefully, her neurosurgeon will be able to remove the entire mystery spot, and we will get some answers on what we are dealing with here.  They expect her to be in the hospital for 3-5 days, depending on how her body handles it all.She will have a "stealth" MRI the day before to map out the surgical zone.  He may or may not deal with some of the cranial bones that are not healing properly.

Warrior God

God is a Warrior, a Mighty Fighter and the lives we live are not going to be all fun and games. The battles that we deal with in the physical is nothing compared to the spiritual battles that occur 24/7.

Around the world over billions of dollars are spent on defending our nations from attacks and wars. Wars are a huge part of our human history. We have biological warfare, Guerrilla warfare, religious warfare, germ warfare and so on. Our countries live on the defense with war strategies placed all over our nation.

The natural mirrors the spiritual and what we see here in the physical is only a fraction of what is happening in the spiritual which is a mega war on a colossal scale.

Jeremiah 12:5 NIV
“If you have raced with men on foot
    and they have worn you out,
    how can you compete with horses?
If you stumble in safe country,
    how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?

The story of our lives is one long stretch of unending battles starting in the womb and ending in death.

Jacob tells us how difficult his life has been...

Genesis 47:9 NIV
And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers.”

Job declares that our days are few and full of trouble...

2 Corinthians 11:23-29 NIV
"Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. Five times I received from the Jews the forty lashes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was pelted with stones, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea, I have been constantly on the move. I have been in danger from rivers, in danger from bandits, in danger from my fellow Jews, in danger from Gentiles; in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea; and in danger from false believers. The wonderful thing is that we have victory in Jesus Christ! He won the war and so we are winners too.

1 Corinthians 15:57 NIV
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christian are to be warriors just like our Lord Jesus. He is a mighty Warrior and He has shown us how to do battle.

Ephesians 6:10-13 NIV
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Jesus is our Commander in Chief and He is prepared and ready to lead us into the battle field.

Exodus 15:3 NIV
The Lord is a warrior;
    the Lord is his name.

If you are a person that is not willing to do battle, if you want a cosy life problem free, then you cannot belong to the family of God because God's children are warriors just like their leader. How do we war? Simple!! We war in prayer and intercession just like Jesus did.

Luke 22:43-44 NIV
An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

We fight with our words in intercession to our God who hears us and answers right away. Have you every prayed so intensely that your sweat was like drops of blood? I haven't but if we could have that same determination and focus I don't believe our world would be in the situation it is in now.

Christians need to wake up and put on their battle clothes. Our knees need to become calloused from kneeling in prayer. We need to pray intensely about all situations because Satan's children are praying and doing battle in the second heaven against us. They are fasting food and sleep in order to gain favour from their leader.

Prayer:

Father You are glorious indeed! The might of Your armour shines and Your mighty right arm bulges as You hold the double edge sword. I praise and worship You and give You thanks!!
Release in me the understanding of who I am in Jesus Christ.
As I stand by Your side and mimic Your moves I trust that You have my back, my front and all around me You surround me with Your presence. Any satanic demons tormenting my life, be tormented in the name of Jesus Christ. Any satanic demons standing in the way my destiny be blocked in the name of Jesus. Every demonic angel blocking my prayers be roasted by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Every power increasing against the healing of the sick be silenced in the name of Jesus. Lord, soak this blog in the blood of Jesus and the people on the prayer page be healed, in Jesus' name.

What a relief and a joy for the Krull family and us. Here is what Kate said...

Praise God! Praise God! Clean scans. We were told that they actually saw improvements in some areas they were watching. There was a build up of fluid that may need to be addressed but our sweet baby remains cancer FREE!!!

I love the faith this family has!! The love and trust they have in Jesus is amazing and just makes my heart soar knowing there are people who can lose a child and glorify and love Jesus all the more. I so want to cut snippets from Jordan's Healing blog and paste them here but that just wouldn't do for me. You really need to just head over to their blog and read it for yourself.

Friday is a make it or break it day for Joy. She can really use a lot of prayer today. I will update as soon as I know something. Thank you!

The Blood of Jesus gives us the victory over Satan and all his demonic guests and Satan cannot hold out against the power of the Blood of Jesus. I hold the Blood of Jesus as a shield against the enemy that is trying to resist the authority of the prayers of the children of God. Jesus Take Care of Joey

Dear, sweet Joey has gone home to be with Jesus. Here is what his dad said on his CaringBridge page:



Joey finally met in person (face to face) the person he's loved, trusted, admired, talked to, talked about, and worshipped for years, Jesus, tonight, at 9:35p. Buddy, you loved that song, I'll fly away....you beat me there. Which is not the way it's supposed to be. I will be there soon. I never knew I could love someone like I loved you, son. My heart will be broken until I see you again. You are awesome. I told you often how much I loved you and thought of you. I can only hope to run a race as strong, and focused, and effective as you. In spiritual terms, I look up to you. I love you and am a fractured, torn up person without you. I'll never be right. But I will see you soon. One more time, "Dad thinks you are awesome! You make me happy! I am so proud of you." I'm coming buddy. Pray for me.

Please be in prayer for the family during this very sad time. Thanks!

Cancer Stinks!

Joey Needs a ton of prayer right now as he has taken a turn for the worse. Taken from CaringBridge site.

...things have gotten progressively worse over the last two weeks. What a nightmare. We wanted to again ask for your prayers. Joey can barely communicate w/us, is very tired (from having to breath so fast) and is having trouble breathing (labored). We need God to intervene and stop what otherwise will be a horrific next few days. There are some signs that it might be hours not days. ...

Jordan is in hospice house and is losing the feeling in his legs. Below is taken directly from his blog.

...The reason we came to Canuck Place was to explore two options for pain management until Jordan's healing. Both are harsh but one has become dangerous due to the seemingly rapid progression of numbness throughout his body.  So in many ways we are backed into a corner....

...And what we had thought would be a few days, (I packed for 5 to be on the safe side) suddenly has no end in sight...that all by itself was a tough one....

...In a text I received this morning, Reece asked me if I was scared.  And I was surprised, after checking, that I was more mad/frustrated than scared.  For crying out loud, he just wants to sit up or lie on his side.  And late last night and this morning, eating became increasingly difficult, stealing some of the joy from one of his few pleasures.  This is wrong on soo many levels....

Lucy has been pretty sick and so her scans were canceled  I am not sure when they are going to do them as there has been no information put up yet. 

Scarlett will be having surgery to remove this unknown mass from her brain after the American Thanksgiving. Click on her name to go to her blog and check out the scans. Please pray this is nothing to be of concern. 

Joy had a set back. The following is taken directly from her Facebook page...

Joy is back on the ventilator. She was working very hard to breathe and her sats were getting low. While we are disappointed at this step back, we are not discouraged. We know who holds her future and He will never leave us alone. 
We are blessed.

Please keep these children in your prayers. God is listening and we just need to keep on pressing in with faith. Thanks!!

On another note please keep Israel and her leaders in your prayers as there is now a chance of a 7 weeks war to happen. Check out the post from Joel Rosenberg. Below is taken from the post.

We His Flock Praise Him


PRAYER



Lucy is having scans this week and the scan anxiety is setting in on the family. Jack, Lucy's brother is having terrible asthma attacks and it just seems chaos is happening. Please pray for NED (No Evidence of Disease) for Lucy, relief from asthma for Jack and peace in the family. Thanks!!


PRAISE



Phoebe had scans on Monday and they were clear!! There is no evidence of disease but she still must undergo chemo for a while yet. Please keep praying for this precious doll.


Ian has had his scans and they were stable and he is now completed the chemo therapy. He still has many issues to overcome and because the scans were only stable, he will be having follow up scans every 2 months instead of every 3 months. Please keep him in your prayers and his mom too as soon to come on the scene is adorably loved baby number 9. :)

Making Intercession


I encourage you my brothers and sister in Christ Jesus to pray all kinds of prayer to Father. We have the promise of the Holy Spirit to intercede for us as we pray, taking our prayers and bringing to Father what we cannot say.

We know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26

We realize that we are energized by the Holy Spirit for prayer; we know what it is to pray in the Spirit; but we do not so often realize that the Holy Spirit Himself prays in us prayers which we cannot utter. When we are born again of God and are indwelt by the Spirit of God, He expresses for us the unutterable.

"He," the Spirit in you, "maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God," and God searches your heart not to know what your conscious prayers are, but to find out what is the prayer of the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit of God needs the nature of the believer as a shrine in which to offer His intercession. "Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost." When Jesus Christ cleansed the temple, He "would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple." The Spirit of God will not allow you to use your body for your own convenience. Jesus ruthlessly cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and said - "My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves."

Have we recognized that our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost? If so, we must be careful to keep it undefiled for Him. We have to remember that our conscious life, though it is only a tiny bit of our personality, is to be regarded by us as a shrine of the Holy Ghost. He will look atter the unconscious part that we know nothing of; but we must see that we guard the conscious part for which we are responsible.

In Need Tonight! UPDATED Joey & Ian

Ian is in need of prayer tonight as he just had some important scans done. Please pray with me that this cancer is gone!! If you feel led, head over to his mom's blog, An Ordinary Mom, and give her some encouragement as she is trying not to be worried.

UPDATED: Ian's scans were stable! Now praying for the next step. Thank You GOD! :)




Joey is having more issues from this cancer. Below is taken from his CaringBridge site.

To boil this down, it seems like the evidence is pointing toward the cancer causing this. If its something else, they aren't telling us. Results of MRI (4p today) come in the morning I guess. Couldn't find a kidney stone but urine/bladder is filled w/amorphous debris. Microscopic (irregular shaped) crystals, as I understand it. Could cause problems and irritation, but not keep him from emptying his bladder. Preliminary results say he does not have bladder infection. Formal results in morning. So every, literally 5 minutes he grabs himself and asks us to get the urinal, and then either tiny bit drains out, or nothing. He is miserable. And I'm losing my mind. I can deal with almost anything in life, and have been through some stuff. What I cannot deal with is him suffering. Can NOT. Urology resident said they won't cath him again until 300 cc's. he's in torment at 75cc. We're doing another bladder scan now. Thx for prayers. Desperately needed.

UPDATED
My posts moving forward are probably going to be just medical facts and updates. For a bunch of reasons, but primarily bc this is heart wrenching, is the spiritual battle of my life, and extremely personal. The MRI showed "a lot" more cancer (in comparison to the one a month ago), all over his brain, and down his spine. She thought maybe his (still) high heart rate was from a new lesion or cluster on his brain stem. We are waiting to hear more, as far as medical options, if there are any. I will post more as I know more.
